Manual Call Point IP66/67

General Description

CS-MCP HD is an addressable manual call point. The heavy duty encapsulation, with high level of corrosion resistance, makes it capable of withstanding harsh environment for long time periods.

A fire alarm is activated by breaking the glass that has a protective plastic coating to prevent operator injury. The fire alarm can be reset on the control panel of the fire detection system after the broken glass has been replaced.

CS-MCP HD is designed to comply with the standards for the industrial, maritime, offshore and rolling stock markets up to Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL 2).

Safety Control Module

General Description

The CS-Safety M H module is intended to be used as a part of a fire or gas detection system and is suitable for use in SIL 1 and SIL 2 environments.

The CS-Safety M H is an interface module and data collector for all CS-Loop M H modules in a fire detection system designed to comply with the standards for the industrial, maritime, offshore and rolling stock markets up to Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL 2).

The CS-Safety M H supports both single and redundant setups.

Features:

  • An xFire signal input
  • An SSP bus for communication with the CS-Loop M H and other CS-Safety M H modules
  • Two redundant 24 VDC power inputs
  • Three relay outputs reserved for signaling the fire, fault and disablement condition
  • An Ethernet interface for external protocols (SSPxt)

For details on assembling a system and definitions of common system terms, please see the Installation & Commissioning manual.

The CS-Safety M H module consists of two products, the CS-Safety M and the CS-Housing H, which can be ordered separately as spare parts.

Input/Output Loop Unit

General Description

The CS-IC22 SS316 WP is an input and output unit for various integration of safety inputs/outputs. It has been designed for use in harsh and corrosive environments and to comply with the standards for the industrial, maritime, offshore and rolling stock markets up to Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL 2).

The CS-IC22 SS316 WP has two inputs that can be connected to external equipment with a dry relay contact. The CS-IC22 SS316 WP supervises the cable to the external equipment for cable break and short circuit, and the inputs can be configured as active high or active low. The function of the inputs can be configured to be:

  • a general input
  • a fault
  • an alarm from a manual call point
  • an alarm from a smoke sensor
  • an alarm from a heat sensor
  • an alarm from a flame sensor
  • an alive signal (output)

The CS-IC22 SS316 WP can control and monitor external devices, such as fire doors, fire dampers, sprinklers, hatches etc. The outputs on the CS-IC22 SS316 WP can be configured to be activated when there is a fire, fault, disablement or input condition locally on the loop-line.

Features:

  • Two dry relay contact outputs, used as safety relays for external control
  • Two configurable I/O – they can either be ‘remote indication’ outputs, alive signals or dry contact inputs
  • Handling of short circuits and cable breaks on the loop-line
  • Stainless steel (316) enclosure IP66
General Description

The Control M 2.2 is a Control Panel with a 2.2" graphical colour display used to manage and supervise a system.

Control M 2.2 is equipped with communication buses for connecting to the system, and it provides the following features:

  • A backlit 2.2" graphical colour display
  • Alarm buzzer
  • LED status indicators
  • Backbone Bus Interface
  • Ethernet connection
  • RS-422/RS-485 interface
  • USB interface
  • Two configurable powered I/Os
  • Two programmable relay outputs

Refer to the User Guide for more information on operating Control M 2.2.

For details on assembling a system and definitions of common system terms, refer to the Installation Manual.

General Description

Designed for hazardous industries where fast optical flame detection is critical and nuisance alarms are not an option.

The CD-F-301 is an explosion proof visual flame detector. The device processes live video images to detect the characteristic properties of flames by means of its digital signal processing and hardcoded software algorithms.
